The Silent Auction is Coming!

Get your pens ready! This year the IL Carnival Silent Auction is going to be AWESOME! Check out our AUCTION PAGE to find out what items will be up for bid.

The silent auction table will be located in the bus loop. All bids will be accepted from 6-8:45 pm during the carnival. Sorry, no early bids accepted!

Please be sure to bring a form of payment with you! Cash, Check and Credit Card accepted!

Red Ribbon Week-Spirit Days!

Indian Landing will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 21st through 25th with various events and activities. This year’s theme is Life is Your Journey… Travel Drug Free. Indian Landing will also celebrate with spirit days throughout the week.

  • Monday, 10/21– Send a message that you are taking steps to be drug-free!  Wear fun socks!
  • Tuesday, 10/22– Send a message that you’ve got a plan to stay drug-free!  Dress like your future self!
  • Wednesday, 10/23– It’s Unity Day! Wear ORANGE to show we are united against bullying and drugs!
  • Thursday, 10/24– Send a message that you are part of a drug-free team!  Wear your favorite team jersey or shirt!
  • Friday, 10/25- Stay on track! Wear red to show you’re committed to being drug-free!

Looking for a Delicious Pancake Breakfast?

Come join us for the annual staff “Make A Difference” pancake breakfast on Saturday, October 26th from 9:00-10:30am in the cafeteria. Bring the whole family and come see your favorite teachers, staff and Principal Ware! Proceeds from this event will be donated to Water for South Sudan.

Please help the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf!  Shelves are really low this time of year. Below is our current Wish list but ANY and ALL donations are welcome and greatly appreciated! 

Please consider donating the week of October 21-25th. Bins will be located in the hallways of Indian Landing Elementary.

Kindergarten:  Canned vegetables, canned yams, baked beans, boxed and canned potatoes, crackers, snack bars and popcorn

First grade:  Canned chili, beef stew, hash, canned soups (chicken noodle, tomato, cream soups), rice, canned tomatoes (any variety), canned meats (stew, salmon, tuna), gravy, broths, ramen noodles, dry soups

Second grade:  Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo), salad dressings, peanut butter, jelly, pastas, pasta sauces, pasta helpers and skillet dinners, mac & cheese, canned pasta

Third grade:  Vegetable oil, sunflower oil, bags of sugar and flour, jello, pudding, pie fillings, cake mixes, frostings, bread and muffin mixes

Fourth grade:  Applesauce, canned fruits, boxes of cereal, instant oatmeal packets, large containers of oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, juice, tea, coffee, cocoa

Fifth grade:  Laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, bars of soap
